You’ve decided to arm yourself. At this level you’ve gained a bit more skill in handling melee weapons and finding them. Luck favors the resourceful. From this point you can pick up most anything and find a way to make it a weapon, though some things are more effective than others.

Mods will give assistance in assigning DMG to these items, but personal creativity is always encouraged.

You’ve decided you really like the feeling of a close contact weapon in your hands, or maybe it's that crack as you weapon makes contact with a skull. Either way, you've decided this is the path for you. With this rank you have become even more resourceful in your melee work, not only can you find useful items you’ve learned how to really make them sting.

It's time to make some lemonade. Now in addition to being able to find items from your surrounding environment to arm yourself long term, you can also alter and even combine items to devastating effect.
Items used can be found or bought. Alterations for buffed effects can either be done by combining items (such as, baseball bat and barbed wire) or alterations (such as, rigging a lighter to create a tiny flame thrower). Mods will give assistance in assigning DMG to these items, but personal creativity is always encouraged.

Once a miscellaneous item is crafted into a weapon it is OFFICIALLY a level 03 melee weapon that anyone can use, and no longer takes up your miscellaneous weapon slot.

You’ve put in the time and effort into making yourself a threat the moment you have a melee weapon in hand. You can now use any melee weapon to devastating effect.
