MEDIC PATH
Welcome to the Medic Path. This path is unique and fairly simple, rather than dealing damage you repair it. The mechanics to this path are outlined below:
GIVING AID AS A MEDIC
Overview: Any character with a medic rank gains access to a pool of health which they can allocate to giving aid each day. It can be spent all at once or divided between characters so long as healing does not exceed the maximum HP/day listed. Characters may also choose to draw from this pool to heal themselves, though performing self-surgery is much more difficult than aiding others, so the maximum hp is lower. This pool CAN ONLY be accessed outside of combat. Otherwise, regular healing items must be used.

Requirements: For medics to render aid, they require some sort of healing item either in their inventory or the inventory of the character being healed. The item's healing bonus is added to the total, at which point the item is used up. First Aid Kits allow this requirement to be bypassed, allowing medics to heal as many times as the kit allows before it needs to be refilled.

USING MEDICAL ITEMS
There are two different types of medical items, kits which are medic exclusive, and basic med items which anyone can use.

KITS
Kits, such as first aid kits, allow those with medical ranks to access their healing pool a number of times without repeatedly buying and expending items. Some kits have more charges than others, but all can be refilled if medics have access to the proper facilities such as the festival's medic tent.

BASIC MED ITEMS
Items such as Band-Aids and Painkillers can be purchased and used by anyone. However, their effects are negligible when compared to a medic's touch. In fact, due to their expertise medics add a static health bonus when using these items. They restore a set amount of HP and only have a single use. The microwave dinner of healing.
